Having Online MLM Success in a network marketing business can be a roller coaster with all the ups and down and twists along the way. You feel up when new people come on board and join your team. A second later you feel down because it seems like all your efforts are going unnoticed. Then, here comes the loop-de-loop, your world is upside down because of “the newest thing” and you feel you’ve missed the boat.

I speak from experience and this is all part of being part of this industry. The high’s are a rush and the low’s are very defeating. The secret is to balance those extremes – easier said than done right? This takes time to really master and sometimes it’s not mastered at all. The end result is to be evenly balanced. Basically try to be in control of your feelings and emotions in all situations. Keep cool when you’re up or down. Understand that the extreme high and low doesn’t control you but you it. When times are good understand they don’t last (nothing in life does) but when times are bad, understand the good ones are just around the corner.

Know WHY you’re building a business for yourself in the first place. Besides the money aspect, what’s behind it all? Making good money is only part of it. What are your plans with that money? Do you want to travel, maybe start a family, buy expensive cars or perhaps contribute to a worthy cause. Whatever the reason, know WHY you are doing all of this? Keep this handy and remind yourself of it often.

To be frank, many of us enter this with self-centered reasons although through time that turns into helping others. It’s kind of sappy but it’s truly rewarding to see a fellow members finally break through and grab hold of that dream. It feels as though you’ve won too because you have that same vision. You can relate to all the hard work and countless nights of going to bed at 2am then suddenly, you’re THERE. Having a vision is the main reason people are where they are in life. All the industry leaders had a vision that was large enough for every person to access online MLM success.

Online MLM Success Tip #3-OUTCOMES

Never attach yourself to an outcome. This is good advice but hard to control especially if you are new to the MLM world. Remove your emotions from any outcome. If someone joins your team don’t get all worked up about it – grin and move on. Also, don’t let it bother you if someone doesn’t joins. Don’t start doubting yourself and being negative. This is a hard skill to develop, but when you’re not attached to a particular outcome you can’t get frustrated or discouraged. Don’t give it a second thought.

Be focused, stay on course and don’t let the world around you distract you. There are so many ways to get sucked way from your goal – TV, negativity from others, etc. Try to just read a good book or surround yourself with like-minded people. Remember your WHY and your VISION and concentrate on those factors daily to help keep you motivated. When you’re motivated you’re focused. When you’re focused you’re determined. You won’t get much of it. Sad but true. Most people around you, especially family & friends, will have all the reasons why you shouldn’t do this. They don’t hold back when it comes to chipping away at your dreams. It’s a twisted psychological finding that most people really don’t want you to succeed in life. They secretly want you to fail because succeeding would actually say something about themselves that they don’t want to know. Somehow the focus becomes on them and they begin to feel inferior and believe you’re pointing out their inabilities to do what you’ve done. Start surrounding yourself with others in the same endeavor. They’ll make a good support team and as an added bonus I’m sure you’ll be able to learn a little something from them too.

It’s easy to lose site of your goals on a daily basis. With so much going on in our lives – work, kids, spouses, fixing the flat tire, feeding the dog, picking up milk, on and on – we start to put our goals and visions on the back-burner.
